Goals: To apply our knowledge of writing a theme statement to a new story. To write an original, thoughtful statement on our own. To apply our knowledge of writing a well-developed literary analysis paragraph about character to writing one about theme.
Agenda:

2) Develop a theme statement for the story
3) Create a template for our paragraph together
